A collection from Guizhou, SW China, of this impressive species. Arching stems with relatively large elongated leaves, each of which is marked with a subtle slim pale-grey variegation down the midrib. Dangling green tipped cream flowers are borne in clusters from the leaf axils in June. Height 50cm. For some shade and humusy soil. This is later into flower than the closely related P. falcatum and less prone to slug attack. Makes a vigorous clump in my relatively dry garden here.
