A close relation of P. kingianum, this is a giant species, producing slim stems that climb into shrubs etc to a maximum height of 4m(!). Whorls of slim lanceolate leaves are produced up the entire length of the stems, each with a coiled tendril at its tip. Pendulous branched heads of soft-yellow flowers dangle below each whorl of leaves in spring, followed by orange berries. A deciduous perennial; easy and vigorous. Humus rich soil in semi to full shade.
