Quercus suber Glaucous form

A form of the Mediterranean Cork Oak with unusual particularly glaucous foliage, making a highly characterful short stemmed, eventually spreading, medium sized evergreen tree with amazing pale-beige, extremely thick, rugged, fire-proof cork bark; even young plants start to show this feature very quickly. Perfectly hardy throughout the UK, this has proven itself in extreme winters. Highly drought tolerant and perfect for a warming, drying UK climate.
