A distinctly grey-green leaved form of the species; quite different to the norm. This came to me as R. yunnanensis, which according to some is a synonym of R. carnea, though apparently the genus desperately needs revising. An easy little hardy evergreen spreader for some shade and humusy soil, with grassy leaves and starry pale pink flowers from rich pink buds from late spring. A Lily of the valley relative from the Far East. Height 15cm.
