Rhododendron arizelum from Burma

A collection from N. Myanmar. One of the finer large leaved species; leaf undersides covered in rich cinnamon velvety indumentum. Flowers very variable in colour, being cream to deep yellow, white, or pale to deep pink. The gorgeous bark is pink to reddish brown. A large shrub to small tree in the right conditions. Hardy over most of the UK with shelter.
