Rodgersia ‘Stoke Gabriel’

A new cultivar from the once National Collection in Devon. Bold green foliage in the same style as R. pinnata with contrasting red petioles and slightly arching inflorescences of white flowers in summer, again on red stalks. The stand out feature of this plant is the contrast between white, red and green. It's often wise to trust the judgement of a National Collection holder to only select and name something that is truly different and worth naming. A bold hardy foliage plant for evenly moist soil in semi to full shade.
