Rubus ichangensis ‘Precious Metal’

A particularly good form of this rare Chinese species, named here, grown for its striking silvered new foliage. The evergreen leaves are shaped like a long arrowhead and emerge in spring a glistening silver, turning to pewtered green as the season progresses. This forms an efficient ground cover or pops up between things. Height to 50cm unsupported. Hardy with me in my VERY cold garden.
