Sanguisorba hakusanensis ‘Lilac Squirrel’

Long, distinctly pendulous, fluffy, lilac-pink catkins atop branched upright stems to 90cm, from mid-summer to early autumn. The attractive grey-green pinnate foliage bears leaflets with an undulating and serrated margin. This Korean species is easy and hardy in any reasonable, not too-dry soil.
