Sanguisorba ‘Joni’

Like a smaller growing 'Red Thunder', bearing its maroon-red 'thimbles' on long wiry stems to a height of approximately 1m tall during summer-autumn, over attractive, nicely divided, pinnate foliage. Like all Sanguisorba, it is best to avoid overly rich soil, to prevent flopping, though is best not too dry in summer.
