An early flowering selection of the Great Burnet, producing branched upright stems to 80cm, topped from late spring into July by deep maroon 'thimble' flower heads. Attractive pinnate foliage with serrated leaflets. Any reasonable soil, not overly dry. Hardy, easy. Sun or semi-shade.
