Sanguisorba ‘Red Sentinel’
A brand new selection, reaching approx' 2m tall, with very attractive pinnate foliage composed of long, well spaced slim serrated leaflets and tall slender stems, topped in summer by a multitude of elongated deep-red 'catkins'. As with all Sanguisorba, avoid overly rich soils to prevent flopping. Best in average to moist conditions in sun/semi-shade.
