Sorbus parvifructa

A recently named species, originally collected in SE Tibet by Keith Rushforth in 1997 and one of the finest rowans now in cultivation with exceptionally fine foliage. A vigorous species with slender twigs, multiple small slim leaflets, up to 26 per leaf, that emerge very attractively washed with maroon, and small hard soft-pink fruits. Makes a hardy medium sized tree with potentiality excellent fiery autumn colour in shades of red, orange or yellow.
