Symphyotrichum pilosum var. pringlei ‘Monte Cassino’

Some asters don't look terribly exciting until they flower in late summer/autumn, but this has very attractive, exceptionally narrow, wispy foliage cladding the stems from top to toe. From September to November clouds of small white daisies are freely produced on a compact, mound forming plant. For most soils and best not over-fed, to 1m.
