Tricyrtis hirta ‘Akachan Daisy’

A bizarrely named Toad lily with excellent markings in the flower. In this cultivar the white petals of the orchid-like flowers are heavily spotted with purple and also washed purple at the tips. The central tricorn sexual dept. is a pleasingly contrasting red, backed by a deep-yellow ring: Cosmic! Flowers are borne in abundance on branched upright stems to 60cm high from August to October and slim pointed pale-green leaves are layered horizontally up those stems. For humus rich moist soil in semi to full shade.
