A very free fruiting dwarf form of the 'Chilean Guava' with tiny slim leaves that gain a reddish-purple tinge in winter. A small erect evergreen shrub to 1m max', with very small narrow leathery leaves and particularly pretty, waxy, soft-pink fragrant bells followed by truly delicious mahogany-red fruit, tasting like sweets in September. In cold Northern areas needs wall protection, though smaller leaved forms are often the hardiest. For sun or semi-shade in any reasonable soil.
