Vitis coignetiae

One of, if not the most strikingly bold climbing foliage plants. Splendid dinner plate sized, textured leaves cover the strong growing stems in summer, turning to shades of scarlet and crimson in autumn. Can reach to the top of tall trees or cover outhouses or walls. The best autumn colour is achieved in poor soils.
