Quercus pontica

The Armenian oak makes a hardy large shrub or occasionally a small round tree with rather superb foliage, being large, broadly ovate and with prominent parallel veining and teeth, reaching up to 25cm long by 12cm across. Superb, deep yellow autumn colour. Quite distinct.
