Fargesia nitida New generation

A well known and ornamental tightly clump forming species. Masses of very upright, pale bluey-grey tinted slim culms arch gently over on old specimens under the weight of attractive slender foliage. Very easy, very hardy and tolerant of both very deep shade and full sun in most soils. A good wind break to 3m tall. These are relatively recently raised from UK seed and will not flower and die until approximately 2095!
