Callistemon ‘Woodlander’s Hardy’

One of the hardiest of all Callistemon, taking at least -10c, making a medium to large sized, dense, fairly compact shrub to about 2.5m tall. Narrow linear evergreen foliage held on arching branches. Vivid raspberry-red bottlebrush-like flowers at the end of the shoots in summer. A hybrid of C. citrinus, this very much looks like that species but is hardier. Not for shallow chalk soils. Full sun.
