Hedychium ‘Devon Cream’
Supposedly a hybrid of H. coronarium and H. gardnerianum this produces fulsome heads of strongly and deliciously scented broad cream-yellow flowers, appearing in August/September. One of the most exotic looking forms for outdoor cultivation in the UK. Hardy, but needs a warm position to flower well. Mulch over the rhizomes for winter if you are particularly cold.
