Lonicera syringantha

A fully hardy species from China and Tibet, making a small to medium-sized rounded deciduous shrub with an attractive graceful form, composed of slender stems and small, narrow sea-green leaves, most often borne in threes. Sweetly fragrant pale lilac-pink flowers are borne potentially prolifically from April - June, with the best flower bud set most probably produced in a full sun position. Easy in most soils in sun or semi-shade. 1.2 to 1.8m high.
