Mahonia oiwakensis subsp. lomariifolia

A classic of the genus with splendid foliage, composed of tightly packed slim leaflets. Bright yellow flowers in spreading/ascending inflorescences at the shoot tips in autumn/winter. Usually perfectly hardy, despite what old literature may tell you, making large shrubs in various locations, given a little shelter from freezing winds.
