Sarcococca wallichii ‘Khorrung Carmine’

Fragrant, most unusual, essentially red flowers borne from the leaf axils in spring on this unique colour form (white stamen from red bracts), found originally in Manipur, NE India. A fairly tall member of the genus, forming an evergreen shrub to 1.5m high. Leaves are large for a Sarcococca. For a sheltered position in semi-shade, shade or sun. Easy in dry shade. A 2022 Pan Global' introduction.
