Xanthocyparis nootkatensis ‘Jubilee’

One of those exceptional trees for shape alone, this is one of the ultra weeping clones of Nootka Cypress. Think of the form 'Pendula' with it's curtains of pendulous scale like foliage, but on a much narrower tree and a less uniform crown. Strongly upright with the pendulous branches held closer to the trunk, yet still splaying out here and there in a most attractive fashion. A very hardy American Cupressus relative for most soils and positions, making a medium sized evergreen tree. Groups, or even avenues of this are truly stunning.
