Sambucus ebulus f. laciniata ‘Deborensis’

A very rare, superlative form of this widespread Continental European herbaceous species Elder, forming suckering patches of stems to 1.7m tall. The ferny foliage is exceptionally finely divided into multiple tiny segments, making for seriously good foliar texture. Dense clusters of white tinged-pink flowers top the stems in summer, followed by black fruits. Easy and very hardy in virtually any position, this is a top candidate for the wilder parts of the garden, for example, where it will easily compete with all manner of weeds.
