Persicaria virginiana var. filiformis
Olive-green and red tints in leaves and stems and a bold dark red-brown V shape on each leaf. Long spikes of deep-red very small flowers in late summer. A safe non-running clumper, 75cm tall, for sun or shade in not too dry conditions. Loves heavy moist soils, though grows just fine here in average loam conditions in full sun.
