Buddleja wardii KR 4881

Relatively new to cultivation, a collection by Keith Rushforth from 3000m alt' in Tibet. Thought by some to be a hybrid of B. alternifolia and B. crispa, this forms a twiggy round headed small tree or shrub to 5m if left unpruned, though can be kept much smaller. Pale grey, small, slim, distinctly toothed foliage on wiry branches with axillary clusters of white, fragrant flowers with soft-orange tubes in April. Hardy.
