Adiantum x mairisii

A rarely grown hybrid of A. capillus-veneris, with greater vigour in the garden, making a fine gently expanding patch of lacy evergreen Maidenhair fronds to about 40cm tall. More erect than A. capillus-veneris and with larger frond segments, this is also hardier, being fully hardy in the UK. Shade and well drained humusy soil; fairly drought resistant once established.
