Aesculus x neglecta ‘Autumn Fire’

A Buckeye from the USA, slowly making a medium sized round headed tree 10 to 14m tall, selected for the excellent autumn colour in shades of orange and red. The early summer flowers are a mix of primrose-yellow and salmon-pink and the foliage is free from the modern maladies that effect certain Aesculus. As happy in the hotter Eastern UK as it is in cool Atlantic conditions and suited to virtually all soil types, if adequately drained.
