Angelica sylvestris ‘Ebony’

A gently self-sowing native biennial with, in this form, dark-purple washed foliage and grey-pink umbels of flower on stems to 75cm in summer. Sun or semi-shade. Easy, especially if left to self sow with gay abandon into all the superior positions in the garden that you haven't yet considered.
