Asparagus brachyphyllus

Barely know in UK horticulture, this highly attractive and very hardy species is native from Central Asia to Korea. A tall drought tolerant deciduous perennial with upright branched stems to at least 1m, bearing clouds of very fine, thread-like foliage; a great contrast to heavier looking bedfellows. For a sunny position in any well drained soil. This may or may not be edible. Research needed!
