Begonia annulata

A low growing species about 20-30cm tall, with a range from Nepal to Vietnam. Leaves are a lustrous dark-green above and emerge with a red fuzz. Flowers are comparatively large and pure white in late summer. Overwinter frost free or try outside with a mulch. This is the true species, from Nagaland, NE India, unlike another sold in the UK under this name, which is very different and incorrectly identified.
