Begonia edulis

A large leaved predominantly Chinese species, which we found just over the border in N Vietnam, back in the day, this is hardly known as yet in the UK. Growing 40-60 cm tall with bright green leaves to at least 25cm across; these are boldly lobed, somewhat like a large maple leaf. Forming stems above the basal foliage, clad in further leaves, these are topped late season by pale-pink flowers. Not tested for hardiness, so probably best as a pot plant, frost free over winter, until you have enough to experiment with.
