Begonia grandis subsp. holostyla ‘Nanjiang Silver’

A relatively new form of this very hardy Begonia from Sichuan, SW China, with distinctly silver spotted and marked leaves, especially earlier in the season, with red washed undersides and pink flowers in late summer. Fairly late to emerge; in early summer here. This will easily self sow in the garden from bulbils, produced on the stems in autumn, though can be hoed off in seconds if not desired. Height 45 cm. For shade, semi-shade or even sunny positions, though best looking with a little shade.

Pot size: 9cm
