Bergenia ‘Pink Ice’

A modern hybrid of two exceptional species, B. emeiensis and B. ciliata, with large nodding bell shaped flowers that open out somewhat as they mature in mid-spring, held on coppery tinted stems above the relatively small, yet still fulsome glossy evergreen foliage. Starting white with a faint blush of pink, the flowers age to a clear light-pink. Sun or semi-shade. Easy.
