Found originally at very high altitude in Arunachal Pradesh, NE India. Very low growing with a spreading form and narrow lanceolate semi-evergreen foliage topped by deep-red short flower heads in late July/August. Height 10cm. Good for edging or on raised beds/rock gardens etc.
