Buddleja curviflora

From Japan and Taiwan, a rather distinctive species with elegant, tapered foliage, covered in very dense short creamy-beige hairs underneath. Height to 2m. The light purple flowers all curve in one direction and are borne on only one side of the spike, seen in September/October. Proven hardy over a number of years in Gloucestershire, though best sited sensibly.
