Buddleja salviifolia white flowered

A white flowered form of this South African evergreen large shrub, with leaves differing from the more common mauve-blue form by being greener, with additional white hairs, and having a more bullate (blistered/puckered) surface. Big heads of powerfully and distinctively scented creamy-white flowers in spring, way before most Buddleja are even thinking of flowering. Generally hardy here over most winters, but extreme cold can cut it back, as can secateurs if you want to keep it smaller, but a warm sunny site with reasonable shelter, or against a wall would be sensible.
