Bupleurum fruticosum

A medium sized evergreen Mediterranean shrub for a sunny spot on any well drained soil, and excellent in maritime exposure. Simple sea-green leaves and umbels of yellow flowers from July to September, followed by yellow seeds. Usually in short supply, though much in demand by those in the know. Quietly gorgeous.
