Butia odorata (syn. capitata)

The Southern Brazilian Jelly palm is surprisingly hardy and one of the easiest to grow in our climate. Forming a chunky trunk with time, this has a particularly elegant large crown of recurving, tropical looking, blue-grey-green feather fronds. Hardy to at least -10c for short periods, it is best planted with some shelter, and will most enjoy a hot position.

Pot size: 7.5L
