Ceanothus ‘Cielo Blue’

A Sean Hogan introduction, Cielo translating to 'Sky' or 'Heavenly'. A cross between C. thyrsiflorus and a high elevation collection of C. coeruleus, this forms a compact evergreen shrub 1.2 to 1.8m tall with a rounded habit. Small, neat foliage and a mass of sky-blue flowers in early summer, and then again in autumn. Well drained soil and full sun.
