Chamaerops humilis var. argentea (cerifera)

The pale silvery-blue-green Moroccan mountain variant of the European Dwarf Fan Palm is one of the hardiest for the UK, surviving short periods at -12c when mature. Plant in a sunny sheltered corner in inland locations or in full exposure in coastal areas or city centres. Can also take shade, and great in a pot if given a little protection over winter.
