Going by the name 'whiteleaf leather-flower' in its native SE USA, this is a very rare species in UK cultivation, but hardy and easy in the garden. The distinctive foliage is a very attractive blue-grey-green with broad leaflets and the thick textured, red-pink pitcher shaped flowers with white interiors are borne from June to August on a climber 3 to 5m tall. Highly amenable to pruning in winter/spring and suited to sun or semi-shade.
