Cornus kousa var. chinensis ‘Wisley Queen’

Spectacularly beautiful in flower, this form was selected for its large-bracted white flower heads, and its willingness to flower profusely, in June, covering the branches to the point of foliage eclipse. Bracts blush pink as they age. Red fruit follow en-masse, then long lasting autumn colour starts with a hint of red, building to rich bronze and crimson. A small tree with spreading branches.
