Cornus x rutgersensis ‘Stellar Pink’

Another product of the Cornus breeding program of Elwin Orton of Rutgers University, New Jersey, this hybrid of C. kousa and C. florida visually leans toward the former parent. Bearing a massed display of white to soft pink bracted flowers in mid summer on a rounded small tree to about 6m tall with spreading branches. For sun or part shade and preferably not thin chalky soil.
