Another product of the Cornus breeding program of Elwin Orton of Rutgers University, New Jersey, this hybrid of C. kousa and C. florida visually leans toward the former parent. Bearing a massed display of white to soft pink bracted flowers in mid summer on a rounded small tree to about 6m tall with spreading branches.
