Correa lawrenceana var. genoensis

An endangered variety of Mountain Correa, only found growing along the Genoa River and its tributaries near the New South Wales - Victoria border, Australia. A medium sized evergreen upright shrub to 2m tall, with slim, yellowish-green tubular flowers borne from the leaf axils in spring. The ovate foliage emerges raspberry-red, turning light-green. Rare in the wild and very rare in cultivation here and best suited to milder areas.
