Cystopteris moupinensis

A delicate looking but very hardy deciduous fern from N India and the Far East with lacy, heavily divided triangular fronds 20 to 50cm long, but usually no more than about 30cm. A creeping fern making a slowly spreading patch, with very slender rhizomes showing ginger coloured scales when young. For humusy soil in shade or part shade if moist.
