Deutzia hookeriana

An unusual species from the Himalaya/Sino-Himalaya with small leaves and a profusion of rounded pale-pink flowers in dense corymbs in June on a hardy shrub up to 2m high. Any ordinary soil or site. These are derived from an original George Forrest collection from China.
