Deutzia pulchra ETOT 66

A beautiful medium to large sized hardy deciduous shrub of noble aspect, for any soil in sun or semi-shade. The drooping spikes of white, golden centred flowers in June have been likened to lily-of-the-valley (without the scent). Mature plants have pale cinnamon bark peeling off in smooth papery sheets. One of the finest of all Deutzias. Collected in Taiwan.
