Digitalis ferruginea ex Georgia

Self-seeding short lived evergreen perennial foxglove with particularly beautiful, tall, straight, very narrow spires of densely set, hooded, pale apricot-yellow flowers, brown netted in their throats. Dark green leaves are glossy and narrow. Flowering over a very long period in summer. Sun or part shade in any well drained soil. Drought tolerant in full sun and very poor soils, but happy in better conditions also.
